We are trying to arrange a shuttle service from the airport to the campus directly on the 15th of June, when most of the participants will arrive. However, if you happened to miss this shuttle, it is also quite easy to get from the airport to the Peking University (PKU) campus by calling a taxi.

To get from the Beijing International Airport to Shao Yuan hotel, you can take a taxi at the airport. Make sure that you wait for the taxi at the official taxi station just outside the terminal. Do not take unofficial taxis. Do not bargain with the driver. Use the meter. The airport is about 30km away from the campus of PKU and the drive takes about 30-60mins depending on the traffic. The regular fare from the airport to the PKU campus is around 100RMB (this also depends on the traffic and the type of car you are taking). In any case, pay the amount that is indicated on the meter plus highway fee (10RMB) only. There is no need to pay tips and the driver should also provide you a printed receipt of the payment. We have made a PDF file in Chinese, telling the driver where you want to go. Just print this file out and show it to the driver.
