One Postdoctoral research position available immediately. The lab focuses on the technology and theory of scanning near-field optical microscopy and its application on meso-scale and nano-scale structures and biomacromolecules, such as near field mapping, fluorescence spectroscopy, dynamic detection of single molecule and manipulation of nuclear assembly and apoptosis, and simulation of near-field distribution around mesoscopic subjects. Experience with molecule detection technology and near-field optics or scanning probe microscope is desirable. Proficiency in molecular biology is required.
