报告摘要

In 2010, we developed a new frame structure of Pt(II) complexes for blue OLEDs, and achieved high efficiency as well as durable device lifetimes. Then, we found the emission spectra of those complexes, efficient in photoluminescent quantum yield and high “pure” in color,can be finely tuned as will. RGB emitters were then developed and fabricated into devices for electroluminescent ultrapure blue and green OLEDs. Those ultrapure emitters in blue and green are accordingly from their narrow emission spectra width (up to less than 20 nm at room temperature), and recently proved to exceed the quantum dots on the color coverage. However, the mechanistic interpretation of those narrow spectra emission were lagged till 2018. We started a series of comparative experiments to probing the triplet excited states. In this talk, we will account for discovery history of those ultrapure emitters involving material development and mechanistic investigation.

 

报告人简介:Hang Xiao-Chun graduated from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, in 2009. His graduate studies were organofluorine chemistry and materials. Then he started a period of 3-year postdoc research career in the US at Flexible Display Center, Arizona State University, and did the research on blue phosphorescent materials. Following appointment in Zhejiang chemical industry research institute Co., Ltd., subsidiary of Sinochem, he did the work as an engineer for the chemical industry. In 2015, He restarted academic career at Nanjing Tech University, where held the positions of researcher professor in the field of developing organic optoelectronic materials.
