The goal of our research is to obtain the ultrafast dynamics of elementary processes on a femtosecond timescale, like the charge and energy transfer, excited electron dynamics, photocatalysis at surfaces and interfaces. We are trying to understand a microscopic ultrafast process from both of the atomic motion (vibrational dynamics) and the electron motion (electronic dynamics).
